At its worst, signage is a blemish on great architecture, lacking in functionality, and detracting aesthetically. We believe in the power of signage to shape spaces and experiences, and are dedicated in contributing to this mission. Outstanding architectural, interior and landscape design deserves outstanding signage. MASS is a design-led wayfinding + signage studio that delivers compelling, bespoke signage outcomes that enrich spaces and experiences. We believe signage should complement architectural and interior design to form a cohesive whole. We offer full-service design to installed completion of all kinds of signage, and have great long term relationships with a range of sign printers, fabricators, installers and other trades who we partner with to deliver finished signs of the highest standard. We can also provide wayfinding signage strategy, design, documentation and review services in a consultancy-only capacity, which is often preferred for larger projects with dedicated project managers. The implementation of signage for wayfinding and statutory compliance is typically common to all projects, so MASS is very much focused on the placement, content and design of all kinds of signs. The signage needs of a single building are completely different to a campus or shopping centre however, and our process adapts to reflect this.
