Practical nature research is actually the core of conservation. Mahadare Ecological Research Institute (MERI) is, of course, an organization working to preserve this legacy of ancient Indian nature culture tradition forever.
This organization was started in the year 2017 with the inspiration of nature conservation. This movement began with many tough challenges in the initial days. The institute is currently doing research work in various departments like Linguistics, Psychology, Anthropology, Numerology, Modern Biotechnology, Information, and Technology, Human and Nature Symbiosis, etc. Freelance researchers and students working through the institute are taking their work from a local to a global level.
As a part of it, the students tirelessly submitted a research report of the Mahadare forest area near Satara city for 6 consecutive years on a structured and scientific basis to the state government through the forest department, and as a result of this, the Mahadare forest soon got the status of India's first *Butterfly Conservation Reserve* area. The organization will continue to work in the future on this path of nature conservation through public participation. Mary will strive to provide all research services and facilities for freelance researchers and students.
