Metabo is een professionele fabrikant van elektrisch gereedschap voor professionele gebruikers gespecialiseerd in metaal, bouw en outdoor.
Alhoewel vanaf 1932 Metabo machines in Nederland worden verkocht, bestaat Metabo Nederland bv vanaf 1982 en is sindsdien de omzet verviervoudigd.
Metabo Nederland is sinds 1988 gevestigd in Breukelen, waar ca. 35 personen werkzaam zijn. Het merendeel daarvan houdt zich met verkoop en voorlichting bezig.
Vanaf medio 2000 worden ook de producten van het begin 1999 overgenomen Elektra Beckum AG door ons verkocht.
De machines van de in 1998 overgenomen Franse fabrikant Lurem worden direct uit Frankrijk naar een select aantal dealers verkocht.
