Metarom USA was founded in 2017, yet our direction and employees are not new to the flavor industry or the North American market. We are delighted to share our expertise and core values with our growing base of satisfied clients. Metarom USA is one of ten Metarom manufacturing sites around the world. The parent company, Metarom, was founded in the 1950s by Maurice Métayer in France. The name is a combination of the founder’s last name and arome, from the French word for aroma or flavoring. “Global reach, with a local focus” is our mantra. As part of the Metarom Group, we enjoy global collaboration, supply chain optimization, and a wealth of market insights from every corner of the world. Our customers are the companies that use our high-quality ingredients to create food and beverages. We regularly welcome customers from all over the country to our state-of-the-art facility in San Diego, California, for tours, tasting sessions, and education.
