We operate employment-focused programs and social enterprise businesses that provide hands-on learning and support for individuals looking to develop their skills, re-enter the workforce, or find a new path. Whether it’s baking artisan bread at Stone Hearth Bakery, gaining confidence through EDGE or growing fresh food at Common Roots Urban Farm, MetroWorks empowers people through work.

✅ Social Enterprises like Stone Hearth Bakery & Ampersand Café provide training in food service while offering delicious baked goods to the public.
✅ Youth Employment & Mentorship programs like EDGE help young people gain experience, skills, and confidence.
✅ Community Initiatives like Common Roots Urban Farm and our partnership with Mobile Food Market tackle food security and sustainability.
✅ Skills Training & Education through Money Path Atlantic, OPTIONS Work Activity Program, Cunard Learning Centre and Newcomer Women Program help participants find stable employment.
