Michael Williams Engineering Ltd is a family-owned and family-run business established in 1974.
Its origins were in designing and manufacturing control systems and dust extraction systems for grain stores and agricultural industries.
In the early 1980s, it designed and manufactured the award-winning Bangalore Bird Scarer with its revolutionary electronic spark ignition system.
The 1980s also saw the design and manufacture of the Big Brute Industrial Vacuum Cleaners that have made cleaning up in agricultural and industrial businesses faster and more efficient.
Today, it employs about 19 full and part-time people at its manufacturing base in Fulbourn near Cambridge, UK.
The Big Brute Industrial Vacuum Cleaners are exported all over the world with distributors in France, the Republic of Ireland and Denmark, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
