We are the Michigan Economics Society (MES), the oldest and premier economics society at the University of Michigan. MES is one of the largest student organizations on campus, with members from a variety of academic backgrounds. The primary goal of the organization is to offer programming that is not addressed in the economics curriculum alone and to bring together students from all disciplines with a common interest in economics. This is accomplished through a broad array of events and services that include corporate presentations, professional development workshops, enrichment-oriented panels, and academic support services. The strength of MES comes from its members and relies on their hard work and diligence to achieve its aims of providing quality services to those interested in economics. There are many new, exciting, and innovative events, projects, and activities occurring within economics at the university and beyond. By joining MES, you can be a part of this.
