The word Michie in Japanese means “filled with smiles and laughter”. It makes us happy when a customer approaches us and says “thank you, that was delicious.” Michie Sushi is a family business; we take pride in our returning customers. We started Michie Sushi as a take away in Ranelagh in 2007. Soon, catering and deliveries were added. Due to demand, we opened a small restaurant in 2011. In our first year, we won McKenna’s Best Sushi in Ireland, an award we have won every year since. We have also won Best Casual Dining in the Restaurant Awards and Best Ethnic Restaurant by Georgina Campbell.
