Mid Ocean Club is a Private Members Club situated in Tucker’s Town, Bermuda. The club was founded in 1921 by the Furness Withy Steamline and it was acquired by the membership in 1951. This world-renowned 18-hole golf course, which consistently features in the World Top 100, was created by Charles Blair Macdonald with the help of Seth Raynor, two giants of golf course architecture. The course has hosted several Championships over the years, including two PGA Grand Slams.
Mid Ocean Club has hosted several world leaders and the club’s membership includes both renowned politicians and some of the most successful business leaders of past and present, with many owning homes within Mid Ocean Club’s gated community overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
Central to the golf is the expansive clubhouse that overlooks Bermuda’s southern shore and the challenging 18th hole. Additional facilities include the freshly refurbished cottages that are available to Members and their guests, with a majority of the rooms having views over Tucker’s Town Cove. There are eight private beaches in total, which are all available to Members and guests.
