3D Laser Scanning works by shining a reflectorless laser line over a surface in order to collect 3-dimensional data. The surface data is captured by a camera sensor in the scanner, which records dense 3D points in space. Also known as light detection and ranging (LIDAR), it’s an extremely accurate method of capturing data in 3D.

Setting out involves the establishment of markers on the ground. We understand the importance of setting out to the highest accuracy, ensuring our service is in line with the layout design that has been established. Our service can extend from a simple setting-out of control points for resident site engineers, to a complete setting-out service of all points across a development.
