MIKTA Youth Initiatives brings together young people from Mexico, Indonesia, South Korea, Turkiye, and Australia to discuss priority issues relevant to the MIKTA group. The aim of the events is to provide a platform for youth dialogue and exchange, empowering young people and raising awareness of MIKTA among the youth. It consists of two main events, MIKTA Future Diplomats and MIKTA Young Leaders Camp. These events serve as a training platform for selected youth to learn about international diplomacy and immerse themselves in an international diplomatic environment. Additionally, there are four side bilateral events called the MIKTA Connect, which young professionals and youth to connect with MIKTA countries'
embassy officials in Jakarta and learn about the cultures of each MIKTA member through a series of talk shows. Not only that, we also aim to include global youth from all MIKTA countries in a series of in person roadshow events in each MIKTA country.
