At Mimbly we design and develop solutions that enable change in unsustainable behaviours, with a focus on water usage and microplastic pollution. We are a Gothenburg-based cleantech company and team of innovators, all driven to save water(s). This means taking care of the world’s water resources and enabling optimal use through recycling, microplastic filtration, and connectivity. Globally our water consumption is increasing, whilst fresh water is being overused, mismanaged and wasted, affecting billions of people’s lives. When it comes to washing, about 25% of the water in households in Europe goes towards laundry. Every time we wash synthetic textiles, millions of microplastic fibers are released from our laundry machines into waterways and oceans. These fibers are one of the worst (primary) microplastic ocean pollutants. Our first product, Mimbox, tackles these problem head on. It is a B2B add-on solution for any business with professional laundry machines, such as facility management and housing companies. Mimbox upgrades our customers' sustainability to a new level, allowing them to save natural resources whilst keeping their existing facilities.
