The Moment Institute Middle East Fellows program offers American reporters, producers, stringers and editors covering the Middle East a concentrated way to gain in-depth knowledge about the region. The low-residency fellowship introduces fellows to veteran journalists, analysts and experts with different experiences and backgrounds, and Poynter faculty to discuss a wide range of topics with ample opportunities for questions and conversations.
The webinars and in-person meetings are geared towards journalists starting out or wanting to work in the Middle East region.
We invite up to 10 journalists to join us for our 2023 class meeting in late spring and early summer. The deadline to apply is March 1.
