The Mission-Next Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that empowers high-performing veterans and their families during the transition from military to civilian life. We believe that when these veterans and their families pursue their passions, they thrive—and in doing so, they strengthen their families, uplift communities, and help build a better nation.
The Mission-Next Foundation was created by (Ret) Col Dr. Paul Nelson during his transition to civilian life after 31 years of service as a physician in the US Air Force. Paul and Betsy, his wife who was along for the entire journey, decided that an important part of their personal “Mission-Next” would be to work with other veterans to share their experiences, knowledge, and values with a broader audience.
