Mitgefühl in Aktion e.V. (Compassion in action) Overview

Mitgefühl in Aktion e.V. is a cross-traditional Buddhist relief organization, European partner of Buddhist Global Relief, which by statute does not fund religious projects. It supports humanitarian aid projects and sustainable development cooperation aimed at equal participation and healthy livelihoods. The association is open to all people who can identify with it. Compassion is a universally human capacity! Our goals: Emergency relief: acute and rapid assistance in disaster areas. Provision of direct food aid to people affected by hunger and malnutrition. Long-term development work: meaningful and sustainable ecological projects in areas affected by hunger. Assist in the development of better methods of sustainable food production. Promoting education and training for girls and women as a means of livelihood and poverty alleviation. Commitment to habitat conservation: advocacy for social justice, ecologically responsible economics, climate justice, and conservation of nature and species. Currently we support 7 projects for sustainable development cooperation in Africa and Asia and are involved in emergency aid for people in and from Ukraine. The association Mitgefühl in Aktion e.V. is supported by its membership fees and donations. All other donations go 100% to the project work. Please help us help! Because many small lights make this world brighter - especially in this difficult time of climate crisis, the consequences of COVID 19 and the war in Ukraine, help is urgently needed. Even if objectively we only provide a small contribution to alleviate hunger in the world - it is still an essential contribution - for those our support reaches and for ourselves!
