About how we see the Metaverse:
The Metaverse is an elusive concept, and no one knows what it will look like in the years to come. There a too many open questions, parallel technical and social developments that even the most visionary person cannot factor in yet. Trying to describe the Metaverse in detail today is like guessing today's state of the internet 20 years ago.
Still there are a lot of varying definitions of which we prefer a rather broad one. We see the Metaverse as one evolutionary next step of the internet enhanced by the sum of all virtual, augmented and immersive experiences and platforms.
We created 'Metaverse Marketing HQ' because we believe in 3 aspects:
1. We believe that the internet will further evolve because it always has and always will. And that every evolution puts companies at a disadvantage if its impact on the business isn’t evaluated and understood early enough (like the shift to mobile).
2. We believe that at least some part of the internet will develop into a more immersive & spatial state. If you have ever used a VR-Headset you will have realized how powerful and compelling those immersive experiences can be, even with today's bulky headsets and sometimes still buggy software.
3. We believe that this evolution of the internet will create huge opportunities for marketing. There will be new platforms, new channels, new forms of advertising, new metrics and needs for measurement. But there will also be new risks and challenges for your brands which must be evaluated.
