The first of its kind literary fest in Nasik was organized under the aegis of Divya Marathi from 11th-13th November 2016 with 21 sessions and 54 authors.
This year too - The Marathi Literature Festival will be held on 3rd - 5th of November 2017 in Nasik based on the theme 'Confluence of Independent Thinkers‘ with 26 sessions, 5 Workshops and 70 authors.
The literary festival aims at giving thinkers a platform to people who have dared to think beyond ordinary and express independently. It brings forth diversity as the festival will have a dynamic mix of sessions in English, Hindi and Marathi language,making the experience truly enriching for everyone.
The three day festival will be held at Kusumagraj Smarak. A much revered venue, it is named after Vishnu Vaman Shirwadkar, popularly known by his pen name Kusumagraj. Recipient of Padma Bhushan and Jnanpith, he is known for his works like the Vishakha (1942), Natsamrat which are considered as masterpieces in Marathi Literature.
