Unfortunately, in the US many returning Veterans are caught in an inescapable conundrum. They need to work to make the life changes that can lead to economic self-sufficiency and greater personal opportunity, but are unable to access meaningful work due to a lack of experience, skills and support required to successfully enter the labor market. Mo’s Heroes intends to combat this through its community partnerships, housing assistance and supportive services. Our Mission: To significantly reduce the homeless veteran population in the United States by taking a leadership role in the prevention; outreach/education; housing/supportive services; and community partnership in order to support ending homelessness. Our Vision: To Significantly reduce the homeless veteran population in the United States through our various support avenues in order for Veterans, Service Members, and their families to access affordable housing and any necessary support services that promote independence wellness, and education on benefit options and opportunities.
