Mobile Medical Response

Since 1994, Mobile Medical Response (MMR) has provided high-performance medical transportation and pre-hospital care across mid and northern Michigan. We are a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization delivering Basic, Advanced, and Critical Care ambulance services, wheelchair transport, and accredited medical dispatching. MMR was founded by Ascension St. Mary’s and Covenant HealthCare to create a high-performance EMS system in Saginaw County. Since then, we’ve expanded to serve 17 counties, with Munson Healthcare joining as a partner in 2020 to support our northern operations. What began as a single-county service has grown into a regional leader with over 120 emergency vehicles, 700+ staff, and access to the latest in technology, medical protocols, and equipment. We proudly offer a growing Community Paramedic Program designed to bridge gaps in healthcare by providing in-home care, chronic disease monitoring, follow-up visits, and other services that help reduce emergency room visits and hospital readmissions. With over three decades of experience, MMR holds national and international accreditations in ambulance service, EMS education, and dispatch operations—demonstrating our commitment to the highest standards in clinical care and system performance.
