The story follows Momolu, a gentle, unassuming panda who has a knack of stumbling into situations requiring his help. Momolu’s friends each experience their own set of everyday problems which are solved through creative thinking and collaboration; Banni the rabbit helps redecorate the harbour with her sketchbook, Huhu the owl wants to build a slide that everyone can enjoy and Hiko the badger gets to the bottom of a water mystery and ends up diverting a river!
Momolu helps the other animals find solutions to their challenges by encouraging them to use their own skills and strengths. By working together the animals discover, learn, make mistakes, have tons of fun, and always learn something about design along the way.

Momolu is an original, design-led character brand from Finland, founded in 2013 by Leena Fredriksson.
Leena Fredriksson is a Helsinki based artist, designer, trend specialist and art educator. She’s worked in design for over 20 years. The world of Momolu has been inspired by Leena’s childhood summers spent in the unique Finnish archipelago, and by travels to Southern Europe and to Asia. As a designer, Leena’s passion is to combine design learning with storytelling.
