Founded by Darryl Monks in 2017 after 10 years’ experience in the events and hospitality industry, Monks Media has been of service to countless couples on their journey to the alter, as well as numerous prestigious companies around South Africa, including Standard Bank, Beiersdorf, Pernod Riccard, Pepsico, and Edgars. From corporate conferences, product launches to weddings and personal celebrations, our wealth of experience will ensure your event will not only deliver on impact but run like clockwork. We offer full-scale planning and execution of all events, from venue and vendor sourcing, creative concept proposals, and full onsite execution and feedback reports. We strive to create campaigns and events that are based on our values of sustainability and support small businesses, by opting for local suppliers with unique portfolios, who are masters at their craft. We also have an open policy with regards to budget and vendor communication which ensures no hidden markups and costs, and no delays in feedback. Our primary goal is to deliver the most unique campaigns and events within any budget, working with each individual client to bring their vision to life. Having studied Drama and Performance at University in Durban, Darryl has always had a passion for entertainment and creating magic. After finishing his Honours Degree in Scriptwriting and Directing, Darryl began working at with the events and marketing industry, and the rest as they say - is history.
