MOON/SHINE Experiential was established in 2019 by Anna Schumacher and Laura Cheek, co-founders of cARTel: Collaborative Arts LA, an award-winning arts collective est. 2010. Longing to make a very personal impact in the big, wide-world of immersive art experiences in Los Angeles, together they created the largest independent music & arts festival in LA (Broke LA Fest), a one-of-a-kind film festival (The No Budget Film Fest), and unforgettable immersive art parties (SPIRITSPIRIT, DINOSAURUS, GALAXY). They wrote and directed the critically acclaimed "escape bar" DREAM STUDY 114, produced an entire festival to celebrate chicken wings, brought experiential art to global audiences, and produced events for Sundance, SXSW, The Bloc, Melia International Hotels, and other top brands. MOON/SHINE sings homage to our do-it-if-you-dare grassroots spirit, bringing a decade of experience and learning to connect communities in fresh and meaningful ways. Let's make something great!
