The Moot Court Society ["MCS"] is dedicated towards providing a platform to students of Department of Law and Governance of Central University of South Bihar ["CUSB"] to inculcate and enhance their advocacy skills. For this, the society conducts various workshops and training sessions regarding drafting and argumentative skills. The MCS also organizes various internal moot competitions, with the help of its faculty and student body, which eventually enables the students to participate in various other external national and international moot court competitions.
Internal Pooling Competition
In the year 2022, MCS organized its first ever Internal Pooling Competition in order to ignite the interest of Moot Court Competition in young minds.
Fresher's Induction Program
Apart from organizing moot competitions, for all the students in general, the society provides the Freshers' with an Orientation Program.
Ist CCI-CUSB National Moot Court Competition, 2023
CUSB is elated to announce its first edition of CCI-CUSB National Moot Court Competition, 2023 in collaboration with the Competition Commission of India, from February 24th, 2023 to February 26th, 2023. This flagship event has been devised to stir up research on issues in Competition Law and start a talk among the legal fraternity as to emerging jurisprudence in the area. The moot, at the same time strives to familiarize the law students across the country with the court room environment and etiquettes and augment their argumentative and research skills. The moot proposition revolves around the different facets of competition law and concomitant laws. However, the students shall feel free to scout other dimensions of legal issues involved.
