Big names, booming basslines, boutique festival in a bull field…it can only mean one thing… Moovin Festival, a music lover’s mix of bass, funk, soul, reggae, house and d&b to get you dancing until the cows come home. Starting in 2016, with the obligatory break in 2020 (we don’t talk about 2020), it is now in its seventh year. From humble beginnings, the small cow-barn party that started with a few hundred people, has organically grown, and has now well and truly established itself as THE place to party on August bank holiday weekend. Not far from Manchester, yet feeling like another world, Moovin takes place at the eco-friendly Whitebottom farm in the stunning countryside of Etherow Country Park in Compstall. “At the bottom of a tree-lined valley, a hay barn with a fat sound-system.
