MAC’s objective is to create a specialised platform where experienced arbitration practitioners from Morocco and/or with links with Morocco can engage, share expertise, and collaborate to enhance referral opportunities and the visibility of arbitration in the country and abroad.
The MAC is intended to be open exclusively to professionals demonstrated expertise and experience in arbitration in or with Morocco. Only those who can substantiate their arbitration credentials will be invited to join. This ensures that the club maintains a high level of professional competence, fostering meaningful discussions and referrals.
The MAC aims to:
· Promote arbitration in and with Morocco within and beyond Moroccan borders;
· Organise conferences, symposia, academic contributions and networking events;
· Provide a platform for members to share arbitration knowledge, expertise and network;
· Help improve current arbitration legal framework and be a vehicle for communication with public authorities, decision-making bodies and arbitration institutions;
· Keep members informed of developments in arbitration law and practice in Morocco;
· Promote the use of arbitration as a means of resolving international disputes;
· Connect law firms with interns and associates for internship and employment opportunities in the field of arbitration;
· Strengthen networking opportunities among experienced arbitration practitioners;
· Generate referral opportunities as arbitrators, counsels, or experts.
