Mortgage Metrics sends unique alerts to brokers when specific mortgage products reduce.
For example, let’s say you have a client whose mortgage is with Barclays, and you’re undertaking a product transfer a few months ahead of their current deal coming to an end.
Their mortgage balance is £240,000 at 60% loan-to-value, the remaining term is 20 years, and you’ve secured a 2 year fixed rate of 4.25% (£999 product fee) in the lead up to this date.
Simply set a rate alert against the relevant product, which takes around 30 seconds. You don’t have to share any client data to do this.
Should the interest rate applied to this specific product reduce prior to completion, the alert you’ve set will turn green within your dashboard (and you’ll receive a prompt by email) on the day this happens.
You’ll see the two interest rates side by side (e.g. 4.25% is now 4.00%), and the associated monthly saving. You can then communicate this information in any way and timeframe you see fit.
We don’t relay this information directly to your clients because (a) we don’t collect any of their contact details at any time, and (b) it’s not our place to cut into a broker’s working day and existing process.
