Original Company History 1901 - 1915: Chartered by Robert and Max Reinhold on November 7, 1901, Moss Distillery set up operations in South Huntingdon Township, Pennsylvania becoming the second distillery to be incorporated in Pennsylvania. The Master Distiller was Harry W. Frost of the famous Frost Family of Master Distillers. His father James Frost was Master Distiller for Gibson and Sons Distillery & his brother James R. Frost was Master Distiller at the famous Dillinger Distillery.
Today, former South Huntingdon Township native, Michael Bosch has brought the Moss Distillery Company back to life in February 2023. Bosch plans to offer Ryes, Bourbons and Whiskeys under the New Moss Distillery Company Umbrella. Bosch will pay homage to the Frost Family's legacy and bring innovative, modern spirits to market.

In addition to spirits, future plans include on-premise sales through a Modern Speakeasy, Restaurant and Event Facility.
