Established in 1964, Mt. Pleasant Area Junior-Senior High School is located in the beautiful Laurel Highlands of Western Pennsylvania, with 980 students in grades 7-12. Located in Mt. Pleasant Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. Mount Pleasant Area Junior-Senior High School is a combination of a two grade level junior high and four year comprehensive high school with approximately 950 students in grades seven through twelve. The secondary building was opened in 1965 as a jointure of Mount Pleasant Township Hurst and Mount Pleasant Ramsay High Schools. Located in the beautiful Laurel Highlands, MPA Jr-Sr HS is located approximately 35 miles southeast of Pittsburgh, PA.
