Traditionally, the healthcare model reimbursed physicians based on the number of services performed - reinforcing quantity over quality. In an effort to shift the focus, a new reimbursement model was created to encourage healthcare providers to focus on preventative medicine, deliver the best quality care, and keep populations healthy at the most reasonable cost. MountainStar Care Partners has the infrastructure to help providers navigate these new value-based contract arrangements, by providing network management services, performance-based data analytics, clinical care workflow resources and HCC coding education.
