Mounthaven is a dynamic, Christian, K-8 educational community located in Maryland that nurtures servant leaders through a Christ-centered, holistic, interdisciplinary, rigorous approach to learning, exploration, and discovery. Our day school incorporates the best of a classical education including Latin, liberal arts and biblical studies; the Socratic method of deep intellectual and ethical inquiry; and STEAM-rich experiential learning in pace with our ever evolving modern society. Mounthaven was formed during the COVID-19 pandemic by a group of Christian parents who felt compelled to ensure their children had access to best-in-class, personalized instruction irrespective of the learning medium. Our blended onsite/online learning platforms allow for classroom teaching, remote learning, and/or homeschooling, addressing the needs of our students and parents, providing stability during a time of uncertainty, and offering a sustainable educational model for the future.
