Mt Vernon Blooms was born out of love for gardening. Mt. Vernon Blooms provides perennial consulting, sales and installation for zone 5a. Located in Washington Twp, Michigan, on 2.5 acres of perennial gardens and water features we learned in the dirt. Being Michigan natives and growing up in, and around Oakland Twp in the 70's, we spent our days in the woods where an old farm once was. Since 2011, donations of perennials and landscape design have helped spread the joy to private residences around Metro Detroit. Annual donations are available to a good home.
We plan and plant flower gardens for all sun exposures in all soil types. We have some experience with various berries and fruit trees, as well as self-sustenance including root cellaring. We harvest seeds annually and provide plant starts by division of our own stock, which we donate. We get flower stock at numerous nurseries in Oakland and Macomb counties as well.
Mt Vernon Blooms supports a way of life; we promote spiritual abundance through gratitude, generosity and being industrious, mental and physical fitness are by products.
