MTS Cryo Stores are an accredited secure off site bio repository facility based in Nottingham, with over 15 year's experience in storing specimens such as, clinical trail samples, stem cells and laboratory research material.
Offsite sample storage: Customers use our facility when they do not have enough freezer capacity at their facility, or they want to use their freezers for more current samples. It can also be used as a backup by storing duplicate samples at our facility in case anything should happen at the customers site. Our annual contracts include all the servicing, repair and maintenance of the freezer during the storage period, so there are no hidden extra's to pay for unlike some bio repositories. We can cater for the smallest amount of storage, such as a single box of samples all the way up to supporting complete research projects.
Disaster Recovery: We also provide a disaster recovery service for customers who want a contingency plan to safe guard their valuable sample in the event of a disaster. The disaster can be due to a natural disaster, power lost to the facility or due to a freezer breakdown that cannot be fixed immediately. If a disaster occurs at your site, we would come with our truck which is fitted with an on bored diesel generator and transport your samples/freezers to our facility until you are ready to have them transported back.
We can carry out sample shipments in a range of temperatures from +4 to liquid nitrogen. For more demanding shipments we have a 7.5 tonne truck, which allows us to transport up to 4 x -80 freezers full of samples to anywhere in the UK. As a added bonus we can transport freezers running at their set temperature with our on bored generator, providing constant power to the freezers through out the journey ensuring that sample integrity is maintained at all times.
