Mukachevo State University (MSU) is a classical European-oriented university whose main tasks are educational, research, and innovative activities. It is one of the largest scientific, methodological, and cultural centers in the Zakarpattia region and the western region of Ukraine.
MSU is state-owned and is subordinated to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
The university consists of four faculties and thirteen departments, which provide training for specialists at all educational levels, in 24 specialties, and in 47 educational programs in both full-time and part-time forms of study:
Faculty of Pedagogy: Preschool Education; Primary Education; Secondary Education (Music Art); Special Education (Speech Therapy); Educational, Pedagogical Sciences (Educational Institution Management); Vocational Education (by specializations).
Faculty of Humanities: Secondary Education (English Language and Literature); Information, Library, and Archival Studies; Psychology; Music Art.
Faculty of Management and Hospitality Industry: Geography; Hotel and Restaurant Business; Tourism; Museology and Monument Studies; Management.
Faculty of Economics, Management, and Engineering: Vocational Education (Design); Vocational Education (Economics); Vocational Education (Light Industry Product Technology); Economics; Finance, Banking, and Insurance; Management; Public Administration and Administration; Accounting and Taxation; Marketing; Sectoral Mechanical Engineering; Applied Mechanics; Light Industry Technologies (Design and Technology of Garment Products; Footwear and Haberdashery Design); Entrepreneurship, Trade, and Exchange Activities.
