You can always find our mum in the kitchen, always busying about the next recipe to try or brainstorming what crazy concoction she’s going to do next. You can probably say...she is born with this gift: the capacity to give REALLY BIG love to everyone and to everything she sees. Through cooking, she makes people smile. Her meals makes us feel welcome and always at home. No matter the chaos, it was always the food on the table that makes everything feel great. Name it, every occasion. Every craving. Every happy moments or the sad ones. The Lasagna represents the fluidity and cheesiness that is present in our family. If anything, Lasagna is our family's special symbol of pride and love. And we hope to share more of it with you. Ever since we were little, our mum's lasagna is gotta be one of our ultimate favorites. Her secret recipe has been around for decades! Layer after layer of rich meaty sauce and her own twist of cheesy bechamel sauce, our big mumma really has her own thing going on. We started Mum's Lasagna as a living tribute for our Mum. We want to continue her legacy, as well as help her get back to her feet. We were in a very hard place as a family then, and my mum was struggling to gain her strength back. She was feeling broken emotionally and needed something hopeful to look forward too. So as kids, we then decided its time to open a platform where our Mum can feel safe and feel like herself again. But most of all, letting our mum go back to what she loves the most-- cooking for people, spreading love, and giving joy. As she does with us , her kids, every day.
