At muse we believe people interacting with technology can empower museums to better engage with their visitors through analysis of visitor experiences, connecting with ongoing visitor conversations with the aim of improving museums.
Engaging in a design-led approach through established interaction and data insights muse has facilitated the development of a responsive human centered tool to include the ‘voice of the visitor’ at the center of museum strategy (visitor-led as opposed to expert-led).
Muse's team help develop the tools for rich analysis required by museums in a responsive and customisable graphic language to convert qualitative subjective visitor responses to meaningful quantifiable knowledge for museums. The muse tool and it's framework helps devising effective strategies for encouraging visitors to become active participants in culture, fostering social change.
Our team is a result of collaboration between a diverse group of experts that included design research, museum evaluation, curatorial expertise, exhibition design and interaction design.
muse was born out of a need to provide a service and a tool for museums to better understand their visitors as central to museum dialogue between directors, curators, education, marketing and production teams. muse aims at revealing both new ideas and unexpected connections across time and within a museums exhibition spaces and curated cultures.
