The Music Therapy Academy (MTAcademy) was initiated in response to a growing need and request for further education about music therapy techniques and approaches. The MTAcademy provides presentations, workshops and webinars both in-person and online.
The MTAcademy aims to #RaiseTheBarInHealthcare through education, mentorship, research, and engaging with the community. #CollaborationIsKey in reaching this goal.
In Canada, the profession of music therapy is regulated by the Canadian Association of Music Therapists (CAMT). Many music therapists based in Ontario use the act of psychotherapy in their work, and are also regulated by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Both of these organizations require continuing professional development, as do most healthcare professional bodies worldwide. The MTAcademy are happy to help others reach their professional development goals!
