The Music Therapy Foundation of Texas (MTFT) is a 501(c)(3) pending organization founded in 2017 with the generous support of Mark O. Midani. The primary goal of MTFT is to provide Music Therapy services for individuals around the Greater Houston area, free of charge. MTFT provides services to individuals who have been referred to MTFT by other professionals, patients in facilities where there is not an available Music Therapist, or individuals who directly contact MTFT. Additionally, MTFT will offer free services to other music therapists in facilities who take periods of leave so that their caseload is continuously covered.
MTFT is currently working in collaboration with TIRR Memorial Hermann and Texas Children's Hospital.
