Social mobility in the UK and globally for Muslims is lower than any other demographic. The educational opportunities and life chances of a Muslim child born today are strongly linked to their opportunities presented to them and no doubt their parents’ socio-economic background. This is the challenge we face.
ME Trust has worked to address these pertinent challenges. We champion for social mobility from birth to the workplace so that every Muslim in particular the young Muslim child – no matter which community they come from, who their parents are, what school they go to, or where they live – has the chance to have a bright future.
