Muzinich & Co. SGR S.p.A. was launched in 2017 (under the name Springrowth SGR) by a team of Italian senior bankers with the initial aim of targeting the low-risk end of the alternative investment spectrum within the private debt market.
We provide a differentiated lending model by focusing on loans co-originated with Italian and international banks and packaged in highly-diversified portfolios, an approach that is actively sponsored by the European Investment Fund.
Our capabilities, which combine a large origination network with unique portfolio management tools, offer what we believe is a strong complement to Muzinich’s current Italian private debt strategies.
We are also targeting to manage portfolios of CLOs on behalf of our clients and/or to launch dedicated strategies.
The second pillar of the SGR is the Capital Solution strategy. In this respect, we are planning to launch and manage strategies focused primarily on providing new finance to Italian and European corporates with strong fundamentals but facing temporary financial difficulties.
Muzinich & Co. SGR S.p.A. with its registered office in Milan, Via Senato n. 12, is authorized by the Bank of Italy to the provision of asset management services, registered under no. 160 of the Register of the AIF managers (Alternative Investment Funds).
