Modern Vidya Niketan Society established in 1983 started its first group of schools, Modern Vidya Niketan, Sector 17 under the dynamic leadership of Late Shri Gopal Sharma, a great visionary and noted educationist. From a very humble background as a true son of the soil Shri Gopal Sharma rose to the pinnacle of success and launched a drive for the unexplored vistas of “Quality Education for All”. It was by virtue of his magnetic personality, charisma and iron will power that he actualized his vision of a Senior Secondary School, an imposing educational institution. Spread over 2.25 acres of land, this school ushered in an era of quality education. Spearheaded by the effervescent President, Mr. Varun Sharma, MVN has made unprecedented progress under his patronage. Establishment of MVN is fructification of a dream jointly shared by Shri Gopal Sharma and Mrs. Kanta Sharma as a centre of excellence in 1983.
Modern Vidya Niketan Education Society started a Charitable School ‘Gopal Sharma Modern Vidya Niketan' at Khambi, Palwal,Haryana in Dec 2009. Our founder Principal late Shri Gopal Sharma sir believed in the adage ‘When God blesses you financially, don't raise your standard of living, raise your standard of giving’. He firmly believed that ‘Education is the most powerful weapon which one can use to change the world’. Built in memory of Late Shri Gopal Sharma, the School imparts free education to under privileged children. The School provides its students with free books and uniforms and an environment which allows their multifaceted growth and development. The School started with a handful of students but now it boasts of a generous strength of 273 students and 10 teachers. The academic programme aims at holistic development of the child.
