Hierzu betreibt Myelom.Online e.V. ein Internet-Portal mit Informationen rund um die Krankheit Multiples Myelom für Patient*innen und Angehörige. Das Multiple Myelom (MM), kurz auch Myelom, ist eine von den Plasmazellen des Knochenmarks ausgehende Krebserkrankung des blutbildenden Systems. Zwei Sonderformen des Multiplen Myeloms sind das Plasmozytom und das Smoldering („schwelende“) Multiple Myelom. Die Monoklonale Gammopathie unklarer Signifikanz (MGUS) ist eine Paraproteinämie und die Vorstufe einer malignen lymphoproliferativen Erkrankung, z. B. eines Multiplen Myeloms.
