With images of violent school massacres flooding the news and staggering instances of both reported as well as unreported sexual assault plaguing our students, action needed to be taken! We needed to leverage all tools available to us in the age of technology to combat these heinous offenses. This inspired us to create MyFlare Alert, a tool for getting help when seconds matter. MyFlare Alert is a modern solution to emergency communication for campuses nationwide.
Activating MyFlare from your cell phone calls campus secuirty, sends messages with a current GPS location, and takes audio and video. It also has a feature for reporting incidents through picture and text which would help feed into the schools ability to alert students of potential threats around campus.
