MyHire is Kenya's first Peer-to-Peer Car Sharing and Rental Network with a vision of "A world with fewer cars, less pollution and without traffic jams." MyHire was created to solve the car overpopulation problem on Kenya's roads and maximize on resource utilization. The transportation system in Kenya is inefficient and unsustainable, thus there has to be a way of reducing the current problems, with our biggest goal being to completely eliminate the inefficiency with time.
MyHire's peer-to-peer car sharing model creates an investment opportunity for private car owners to defray the cost of car ownership by renting out them through the platform. People who own cars can offset the costs of owning them, and people who don't own cars can get around town for a day for less than $40.
