MYR Land Services was founded in 2022 by Gates Mueller and Chris Yonker with the purpose of running a land service company that operates different from the industry norm. We have grown as a team over the past few years and bring a very experienced core group of landmen to the table. Our transparency and brutal honesty with both our clients and our contractors has been a key tenant of our success.
The landmen and contractors that MYR utilizes are mostly based in San Antonio, Texas, and have extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Having backgrounds in mineral title, lease negotiations, back office support, project management, surface land use, HBP title, curative, and GIS mapping means that we can tackle a wide range of projects with incredible efficiency.
In 2024 MYR was instrumental in the growth and ultimate sale of Ridgemar Energy’s South Texas Eagle Ford asset, adding over 20,000 acres of new leasehold to be developed. The success of that project has brought new opportunities for growth in the following years and we are looking forward to expanding our team and our footprint of operations.
Past clients and projects that MYR has worked on span the State of Texas (South, East, West, and North), Oklahoma, New Mexico, Michigan, Montana, and Wyoming. Having close to 20 years of experience with each landman that is a part of our team enables us to engage complex projects with confidence.
