MYSAကို 2011မှာ စတင်ဖွဲ့စည်းခဲ့ပါသည်။ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှ ကျောင်းသားများ ကျောင်းပြီး အလုပ်လုပ်နေသော လူငယ်များဖြင့် ဖွဲ့စည်းထားပါသည်။ ကော်မတီအဖွဲ့ဝင်များ စည်းရုံးကာ အဖွဲ့၏လှုပ်ရှားမှုများကို အဓိကခေါင်းဆောင် လုပ်ကိုင်ကြပါသည်။
စတင်ဖွဲ့စည်းဖြစ်တဲ့ အကြောင်းကတော့ ဂျပန်နိုင်ငံရောက် အရှေ့တောင်အာရှ ကျောင်းသားလူငယ်များအဖွဲ့(AYNJ, Asean Youth Network Japan) မှ ကျောင်းသားခေါင်းဆောင်အချို့နှင့် စတင်ထူထောင်သူများ2011ခုနှစ်တွင် တွေ့ဆုံမိပြီး ထိုအချိန်တွင် ဂျပန်နိုင်ငံရောက် မြန်မာကျောင်းသားလူငယ်များက အာဆီယံဆိုင်ရာ လှုပ်ရှားမှုများတွင် ပါဝင်ခြင်းမရှိကြောင်း အခြားအာဆီယံအဖွဲ့ဝင်နိုင်ငံများမှ ဂျပန်ရောက်ကျောင်းသားလူငယ်များမှာ ကျောင်သားအဖွဲ့အစည်းများဖွဲ့ပြီး အတူတူစုပေါင်းပြီး အာဆီယံဆိုင်ရာ လှုပ်ရှားမှုများ ပြုလုပ်ကြောင်း မြန်မာကျောင်းသားလူငယ်အဖွဲ့ရှိပါက အတူတူပူးပေါင်းပါဝင် လုပ်ဆောင်စေလိုကြောင်း သိရှိခဲ့ရပါသည်။ တိုကျိူသွားဘက်ဆိုင်ရာဆေးတက္ကသိုလ်မှ ကျောင်းသား ကျောင်းသူများ၊ တိုကျိုတက္ကသိုလ်တွင်ပညာသင်နေသော ကျောင်းသားလူငယ်များ၊ ကျောင်းပြီးအလုပ်လုပ်ကိုင်နေသော လူငယ်များ ၁ဝဦးကျော်ဖြင့် ပထမဦးဆုံးသော ဂျပန်ရောက် မြန်မာ ကျောင်းသားလူငယ်များအဖွဲ့ (Myanmar Youth and Student Association, Japan) MYSAကိုဖွဲ့စည်းခဲ့ပါသည်။
