Mémoire d'encrier

An approach steeped in the values and ethics of humanity and solidarity. Mémoire d’encrier is an independent publishing house that proposes through its wide-ranging catalogue diverse, alternative views and ways of reading literature and reading the world. Founded in 2003 by writer and poet Rodney Saint-Éloi, Mémoire d’encrier publishes established as well as new and emerging writers. Its catalogue, developed with particular care for editorial coherence, brings together works by authors from all backgrounds and horizons. Singular voices are especially welcome and encouraged. Works by indigenous authors as well as those by Haitian, Senegalese, Congolese, Palestinian and Algerian authers, to name but a few, have all found a home in Mémoire d’encrier. Audacity, creativity, inventiveness, discovery : Mémoire d’encrier promotes and raises awareness to diversity as a state of being, as a way of thinking and interpreting the world, togetherness and being with others. Mémoire d’encrier is where cultures and imaginaries meet and dialogue with dignity and respect.
