Founded in 2003 by writer and poet Rodney Saint-Éloi, Mémoire d’encrier publishes established as well as new and emerging writers. Its catalogue, developed with particular care for editorial coherence, brings together works by authors from all backgrounds and horizons. Singular voices are especially welcome and encouraged. Works by indigenous authors as well as those by Haitian, Senegalese, Congolese, Palestinian and Algerian authers, to name but a few, have all found a home in Mémoire d’encrier.
