Yawuru Jarndu Aboriginal Corporation – trading as Nagula Jarndu (Saltwater Woman) is a Not for Profit incorporated body with a membership of 136 Indigenous women and is governed by 7 Yawuru women Directors. An arts and textiles centre, offering training in hand block and screen printing, producing fabrics for home wares and fashion, designed and made by local Indigenous artists. We operate a a full time workshop and shopfront at 1/12 Gregory St Broome; on online shop. High end designs on quality base fabrics, linens, silks and cottons for the textile lovers, and many other original pieces for delightful gifts. The artists are always happy to have visitors, so make it a priority, when in Broome, to come to Nagula Jarndu studios and meet the women working and enjoy the beautiful fabrics they are producing.
