Nama Wellness Community Centre (NAWEC) is a not-for-profit health organization based in Mukono District, Uganda, transforming healthcare delivery at the grassroots. Established in 2014, NAWEC is committed to improving health outcomes by providing accessible, affordable, and high-quality care, especially for women and children in underserved communities.
At the heart of our work is a strong network of Community Health Workers (CHWs)—the backbone of primary healthcare—who deliver essential services including maternal and child health, immunization, nutrition, health education, and disease prevention directly to households.
