The Non-Aligned Movement Centre for South-South Technical Cooperation, commonly referred to as NAM CSSTC or NAM Centre, is an intergovernmental organization that was established as a collaborative effort between the governments of Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam. This initiative received formal endorsement during the 11th NAM Summit held in 1995 in Cartagena, Colombia. NAM CSSTC plays a pivotal role in organizing a variety of international events aimed at contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. These events take the form of seminars, conferences, workshops, training sessions, and apprenticeships.
At each of these gatherings, NAM CSSTC brings together a diverse array of participants, including experts and individuals from various nationalities, fostering the exchange of knowledge and experiences. This dynamic exchange serves to strengthen solidarity among member countries of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM).
Furthermore, NAM CSSTC actively seeks partnerships with government ministries, international development agencies, universities, and private sector entities. These partnerships are instrumental in facilitating the involvement of experts with specialized knowledge in key areas such as Agriculture, Energy, Fisheries, Disaster Risk Management, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, Education/Pedagogy, as well as Democracy & Elections.
NAM CSSTC firmly believes that by fostering solidarity among NAM member countries, a unified and powerful voice can be established to advocate for their equitable positions in international affairs.
