The name of the Nana Marin Association is inspired by a renowned woman who lived in the Nafusa mountains in the 8th century. Nana Marin was a pillar of immense knowledge and respect, consulted by citizens and leaders from both near and far. Our association strives to uphold the legacy of Nana Marin. Led by a team of women, we work passionately throughout the year to bolster community stabilization and development. Our initiatives encompass democratic participation, empowerment of women and youth, livelihood generation, and efforts toward peacebuilding and reconciliation.
